[FAIRFAX, Va., Mar. 19, 2026] – Leading government contracting firm FedWriters, Inc.® (FWI) is honored to be selected as one of the prime awardees for the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services Program (ProTech), which consists of indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity multiple award contracts. These contracts are organized into four domains, of which FWI has been added to Oceans, Fisheries, and Weather.

This partnership will enable our team to provide direct support for NOAA’s work in marine conservation, resource management, and scientific research. “Our team has made this 10-year partnership possible through their delivery of high-quality technical, research, and scientific services since our company was founded,” said Marc Fain, FWI Chief Revenue Officer. “They have inspired us to continue to partner with NOAA long-term as well as to develop a company where we are dedicated to ensuring a sustainable future for all Americans.”

Why It Matters

This opportunity underscores FWI’s efforts to advance NOAA’s mission to understand, manage, and protect the environment, with a focus on preserving essential marine resources. More specific to FWI’s support of Protech, our team will focus on:

• Advancing coastal ecosystem knowledge and ensuring their resilience and value to surrounding communities in support of NOAA’s National Ocean Service;
• Supporting fisheries management, to include protecting marine biodiversity and promoting sustainable practices, in support of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service; and
• Enhancing weather research, forecasting, and modeling to contribute to public safety and national preparedness in support of the National Weather Service.
