[FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 12, 2026] – Leading government contracting firm FedWriters, Inc.® (FWI) has been awarded a 1-year $921K task order under its existing General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract, providing project delivery support services to the Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD). If all four of the option years are also exercised, the task order is potentially worth up to $4.5M.

“This win shows how FWI is supporting the evolving needs of government agencies,” said Marc Fain, FWI Chief Revenue Officer. “Our support for FHWA, driven by experience with the Department of Transportation and FWI’s proven ability to deliver similar services for its customers, offers confidence in our ability to support these requirements for FHWA.”

The FHWA is an agency that supports state and local governments in the design, construction, and maintenance of the Nation’s highway system. The mission of FHWA, according to their website, is to improve the mobility and safety of U.S. highways “through national leadership, innovation, and program delivery.”

This win adds to FWI’s Department of Transportation portfolio of services, including machinist shop services and library services, as well as past support of grant review and public relations and outreach. “We are excited to have been selected and are proud to advance WFLHD’s mission safely and efficiently,” said Christina Sabovich, FWI Program Manager. “Our team is looking forward to providing reliable onsite support that strengthens day-to-day operations, enabling the division to stay focused on delivering critical infrastructure work.”
